Greece needs to be present where the future of Blue Economy capital is being discussed.
The HIIN joined this year’s Blue Economy & Finance Forum (BEFF) in Monaco, including the invitation-only asset owner session around the theme, which the HIIN is proud to co-organize and support with a Greek Delegation, bringing together family offices, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, endowments and institutional investors for a focused discussion on how more capital can move into the sector.
A key event to advance with the HIIN’s Blue Economy Impact Initiative in preparation with local and international partners. This is part of a broader effort to position Greece and SE Europe within the international impact and sustainable finance ecosystem. As Greece’s official National Platform for Impact Investing, HIIN works to connect domestic and international stakeholders and to help shape the national Impact Economy through partnerships, investment initiatives and market-building work.
When it comes to Impact, the Blue Economy is highly relevant for Greece and the region: Green Shipping, Islands Decarbonization, Coastal Resilience, Blue Foods, Biodiversity and Water Systems are part of its economic reality and part of its future investment case.
The HIIN is honoured to be actively part of the gathering and many thanks to our partners in Monaco for the second edition of this exceptional event!
The event is organised by the Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco, the Institut océanographique, Fondation Albert Ier, Prince de Monaco and the Government of Monaco.
