The HIIN attended Philanthropy 2.0 (Φιλανθρωπία 2.0), the annual HIIGS conference that brings together Civil Society Organizations, Public Benefit Organizations, Private Companies, Public Benefit Institutions, Public Institutions and Public Bodies in Greece.
This year’s conference main theme was the importance of social impact and its practical application.
HIIN’s advisor and benefactor Antonis Schwarz (Impact Investor, philanthropist & impact investing consultant), participated in the panel “Ways to support social impact investments”, together with Markos Komondouros (Founder of Investing for Purpose), Guy Begel (Vice President of Social Finance Israel) and Serena Davis (Co-Founder of Hippo Seeds).
Philanthropy 2.0 was an excellent chance to learn about some very successful non-profit initiatives and explore their potential in the impact investing sector.
